Sigma is a fully integrated modular accounting and payroll system. Whilst it is widely used throughout the manufacturing sector as part of the K3 ERP portfolio, Sigma also has a substantial user base amongst the general business community.

 

Sigma is K3’s next generation accounting suite covering the core financial functionality for your business.  

The Financial suite consist of Nominal Ledger, sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Cash Book.  The Commercial suit consists of Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing and Inventory control.  In addition there is a Fixed Asset module and Payroll module with HR.

The SmartVision Client uses 32bit Windows technology allowing advanced viewing of data throughout the Sigma accounting suite. Both standing and transaction data can be viewed in a quite unique way with the facility to personalise your view of your data to your own individual requirements.

The SmartVision Client allows the data to be sorted, filtered, analysed and extracted without the need for reporting or programming skills. This is an extremely quick and user friendly way of analysing your data.

SmartView allows documents of all types to be associated with the standing and transaction data in Sigma and then viewed using the Smart Vision option. Documents such as invoices can be scanned into the ledgers, spreadsheets can be associated with documents and drawings and pictures could be attached to stock items. For example this means you can now integrate document management with your accounting suite.

Sigma also utilises OLEDB technology enabling data to be open and therefore more accessible utilising the power of Crystal reports, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access along with its own intelligent Business Alerts.
